I am a 19 year old entrepreneur with ADHD. The doctor says I have ADHD - and I think I believe him. I am hyperactive and have a low attention span. I also operate 3 companies. The businesses keep me occupied and my attention going. My question is are there remedies? Should I take the prescription he recommended? etc.. Any advice is appreciated. Taylor Private Reply to Taylor Sugar Feb 22, 2008 4:05 am re: having some trouble - guidance requested # shena kaye Hi there, sounds like you and I are very much alike. when i was 19 i too held down 3 jobs and all of them very demanding and two of them long hours. i find even now i dont feel comfortable if im not doing something productive. i cant even watch TV without standing...sad i know. as for meds...i have not taken them myself only because i fear them changing me and turning me into a zombified version of myself. im a happy and silly person and i dont want to lose that...but its really hard dealing with all that comes with this ADD problem and annoying for those around me too. I have been told by some very close friends of mine who are in the same creative fields i am and also deal with ADD that they are very happy with Aderal. they can concentrate and dont feel a difference within them self except that they dont feel so spaced out mentally. and the added bonus of losing weight as a side effect...lol. i would consider trying it out if i were you. I am considering Aderal as well. maybe you and I can monitor each other and keep us sane...lol.
