56. I think it's funny that it says, "You appear to be suffering" when the aggregate of all of these behaviors is pretty core to who I am. I like me. And so do a lot of people. In fact, being the way I am earns me respect and admiration.
Yes, I sometimes get frustrated with my lack of ability to focus. It helps that after being in the work force for over 12 years (and 11 jobs later--average stay the first 5 years was about 3 months), I've found a couple of companies where I fit very well. I've been at my current job 9 months and still love it--which has been really frustrating trying to work on my business on the side.
The biggest breakthrough in understanding how my mind works came after I had kids. :)
I guess to sum up: I refuse to think that that way my brain works is a "condition" or abnormal. Everyone's mind works differently. This is who I am, and I wouldn't trade with anyone.Private Reply to Conan Heiselt (new win) |
