Hey, Sue -
So often we forget the tons of fun stuff that we can weave into our schedules. And there are others that share our interests.
Find your favorite spot to relax...probably out of the house...and jot down in preferably a red spiral or loose leaf bound volume with the date, realistically, "What I'd really love to do..." finish that sentence. Let it flow.
After you have a few great areas, make contact with friends or join groups of similar interest. If there's CHADD or ADDA members near you, send them an email for a get-together. Even in close pxoximity to you there may be intrested people.
CherylRichadson.com is also excellent to build groups with similar interests, perhaps also nearby.
So, agreed, life can get borrring. BUT there are connections out there to be made. As a Coach I joined the Greater Phoenix Coaching Alliance. Voila! Instant connections. Or if you want to volunteer to assist others, religious institutions, Red Cross, hospital, etc, there's always a need, and other great people are awaiting your arrival.
We're such great caring group....you can have fun and/or contribute your broad experience.
ENJOY!
